awarded! - was ist gut?

ddc selected designs that will change society

We are most thankful for being selected winner of the category Raum with the Gruene Erde Breathing Headquarter project for the recent WAS IST GUT award, headed by Friedrich von Borries, hosted by the renowned Deutsche Designer Club.

The claim of the award - namely to investigate "what is good" - finally led us to participate in an insightful 2-day workshop in Frankfurt. We are grateful for the forum and the inspiration.

"The DDC has awarded terrain: integral designs BDA, Klaus K. Loenhart the Was ist Gut Award for developing a plant-based design concept for buildings. The systems design approach lets buildings literally breathe in oxygen provided by an integrated ecosystem. Plants provide fresh, clean air, oxygen and replace conventional air conditioning units."

Many thanks to Deutsche Designer Club!
